Reconstructed abstract
This report reviews discussions at the 2005 Building the Info Grid conference in Copenhagen about integrated access to scholarly information. It follows recurring themes of service- oriented architecture, grid infrastructure, rights management, single sign-on and Google Scholar. Examples from libraries, computing centres, research organisations and vendors show both opportunities for connecting distributed services and the organisational choices required to make them useful to researchers.
